Teatro at the Italian Forum is co-spearheaded by internationally acclaimed theatre artist Andrew Bevis, whose multi-decade career across the West End, Australia, and major global events has established him as one of the most respected creatives working in contemporary theatre today.

Andrew is an accomplished actor, director, and musical director whose work spans genres, continents, and stages of every scale. His West End and UK credits include Les Misérables (Palace Theatre), Romeo and Juliet (Piccadilly Theatre), Jerry Springer: The Opera (National Theatre/Cambridge Theatre) as Tremont – “Chick with a Dick”, Little Women, Tobias in Sweeney Todd (Sadler’s Wells/Opera North), The Hypochondriac (Bath Theatre Royal), Diamond (King’s Head Theatre), Cable in South Pacific (BBC Radio 4), and roles in These People and Terminus (R.A.D.A.). In Australia, Andrew’s stage highlights include Brad in The Rocky Horror Show, Henrik in A Little Night Music, Barnaby Tucker in Hello, Dolly! starring Jill Perryman, Spring Awakening, Favourite Names for Boys, and Follies. He also starred in the title role of Martin Guerre at the Watermill Theatre in the UK — the originating home of The Lord of the Rings – A Musical Tale, in which he later appeared and served as Musical Director on its Australian tour. Andrew is also known for his voice work, lending his talents to the title character in Disney and Studio Ghibli’s feature animation The Cat Returns, alongside Anne Hathaway, Kristen Bell and Tim Curry.

Andrew has contributed significantly to international theatre as a Musical Director, Associate Musical Director, and music creative. His credits include:

As a director, Andrew helmed the Australian revival of Aspects of Love and served as Resident Director on the blockbuster 50th Anniversary Australian tour of The Rocky Horror Show starring Jason Donovan.A passionate educator and mentor, Andrew is the co-founder of THEatreBRIDGE with Nathan M. Wright, a program for elite full-time graduates and early-career performers that connects emerging artists with leading industry professionals, reframing their skillsets and mindsets for sustained careers. Teatro at the Italian Forum is now the home of this mission — uniting top-tier professional theatre with outstanding training and performance opportunities. Andrew directed and musically directed TEATRO’s inaugural production, The Addams Family and he directed the TEATRO Australian premiere of THE PROM.

ELENOA ROKOBARO

as Julie Nichols

Elenoa Rokobaro is a powerhouse of Australian musical theatre, celebrated for her magnetic stage presence and extraordinary vocal prowess. Of Fijian heritage, she has captivated audiences across the country with a career that spans over 15 years and a remarkable range of roles. She burst onto the scene at just 16 years old when she was cast in the lead role of Respect: The Musical while still a student at the Australian International Performing Arts High School. Since then, Elenoa has built an enviable list of credits across major musical theatre productions, concert stages, festivals, and screen appearances. In 2025, she starred as Persephone in the Australian production of Hadestown for Opera Australia and Jones Theatrical, directed by Rachel Chavkin for which she was awarded the Sydney Theatre Award for Best Performance in a Supporting Role in a Musical. Her recent performances include Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill (STCSA/Belvoir/MTC) as Billie Holiday, Tick, Tick… BOOM! (Storeyboard Entertainment) as Susan, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (Matt Ward Entertainment) as Cynthia Weill, and Send for Nellie(Sydney Festival) as Nellie Small. At Belvoir and Hayes Theatre, she appeared in Well Behaved Women, portraying legendary figures including Cleopatra, Harriet Tubman, and Billie Jean King. Elenoa was awarded the Sydney Theatre Award and the GLUG Award for Best Female Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical for her acclaimed performance as Caroline Thibodeaux in Caroline, Or Change (Hayes Theatre). Additional credits include Rent, Anyone Can Whistle, The Book of Mormon, Violet, Ghost, Side Show, Dusty, Legally Blonde, Hairspray, and High School Musical Onstage, among many others. She also appeared in Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby and has headlined concerts and festivals around Australia.

ALANA TRANTER

as Sandy Lester

Alana graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts in 2011 with a Bachelor of Music Theatre. Most recently she played ‘Madame’ – The Wardrobe in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast for the entire Australian tour and Singapore season.  Alana is passionate about new Australian work and has been fortunate enough to be a part of the original casts for Georgy Girl – The Seekers MusicalDreamSong for Melbourne Comedy Festival and NED – A New Australian Musical playing the role of ‘Maggie Kelly’, as well as being involved in Sydney Theatre Company’s workshop of Muriel’s Wedding The Musical.  Other theatre credits include ‘Standby/Dance Captain’ on the original Australian Tour of Come From Away, ’Ernestina’ in Hello Dolly for The Production Company, ‘Keren’ in David Williamson’s Third World Blues, ‘Sonia’ in They’re playing our Song and lead vocalist in California Dreaming – the Music of the Mamas and The Papas.  Alana would like to thank her parents, her husband and her agents for all of their continued love and support. 

DONNA LEE

as Rita Marshall

Donna Lee is a multi-award-winning performer known for her dynamic work across musical theatre, cabaret, television, and commercials. Her recent stage credits include Mrs Claus in Santa Claus: The Musical (Alive on Stage at TEATRO, Italian Forum, 2025), Hairspray (Crossroads Live, 2023) as the Female Authority Figure, Half-Time (Hayes Theatre Co, 2021) as Estelle, and Beauty and the Beast (Packemin Productions, 2014) as Mrs Potts. Other standout roles include the Dubbo Housewife in Menopause the Musical (2009) Ms Darbus in High School Musical (2008), and Madame Thenardier in Les Misérables (1999). A Green Room Award winner for Oklahoma!,playing the role of Ado Annie. Donna has also been recognised with Mo and GLUG Awards for her cabaret performances, including Donna Lee Sings Petula Clark (2014). Her album “You’re Gonna Hear From Me” has been critically acclaimed, recorded with the Maestro Tommy Tycho and his 50 piece Orchestra. Her screen work includes playing Val Anthony in the acclaimed TV biopic Peter Allen – Not the Boy Next Door. With her signature warmth, wit, and vocal talent, Donna remains a beloved figure in the Australian performing arts scene.

BRENDAN IRVING

as Max Van Horn

After graduating Music Theatre at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts in 2007, Brendan’s career began when he received the Bound For Broadway Scholarship from the Talent Development Project & American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. This opportunity took him to the US to perform as a soloist in Sheldon Harnick’s Broadway Up Close and Personal at the John F. Kennedy Centre in Washington DC and the Rick Jensen directed cabaret Bound for Broadway at Don’t Tell Mama in New York in 2009. Brendan has since made a strong name for himself back home, understudying Zack Mayo in Gordon Frost Organisation’s 2012 production of An Officer and A Gentleman and playing Rocky for more than 300 shows in the 2014, 2015 and 2018 Australian tours of Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show. 2017 saw Brendan working with Gordon Frost Organisation once again for their hit season of The Bodyguard as The Stalker. An accomplished aerial acrobat specialising in silks, trapeze and duo, Brendan was a resident artist in Sydney’s Slide Lounge circus theatre show El Circo from 2010-2020. He combined his musical theatre and circus talents playing Garrison Fjord in the critically acclaimed production of The Lyin Queen at the Sydney Opera House in 2019, and again for a return season in 2021. Brendan toured Australia throughout 2022 originating the role of Taurus in Oracle as one half of an aerial hoop duo, before joining Opera Australia in 2023 as The Acrobat in Adrianna Lecouvreur. Brendan is the proud Director of The Movement Academy Australia; a state of the art studio in Sydney founded in 2015 for professional performing artists and anyone with a passion for enhanced movement practicing in acrobatics, circus and calisthenics.

TYRAN STIG

Originally from Newcastle, Tyran Stig is a Sydney-based performer working across musical theatre and screen. His stage credits include Titanique (Michael Cassel Group), Calamity Jane (One Eyed Man Productions, Sydney Opera House), Little Women (Joshua Robson Productions), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Hayes Theatre Co.),  and Friends! The Musical Parody, where he played Ross. His screen credits include Joe vs. Carole (NBCUniversal).

LACHLAN O'BRIEN

as Ron Carlise

Lachlan is an actor and musician based in Sydney. He studies voice under the direction of Peter Bodnar. His most recent credit is the Auctioneer and Monsieur Reyer in The Phantom of the Opera on Sydney Harbour (Opera Australia) after touring as a swing in the 2022/23 Sydney – Melbourne seasons, (Opera Australia, Michael Cassel Group, Cameron Mackintosh Ltd, The Really Useful Group). He originated the role of Aziraphale in Good Omens – The Musical (Squabbalogic/Merrigong Theatre Co) as well as Colonel Monash in 3 Weeks in Spring (Endymion Productions). Other credits include: El Kid (Opera Australia Schools Tour), Little Big Top Cabaret, Channel Nine’s Mornings and many new workshop productions including GoblinLet Me Eat Cake, and Haunted. Lachlan can also be heard as the voice of Joaquin Toronto’s Ghost in the audio musical Star Station written by Vicki Larnach. Lachlan is proud to have lent his voice to concerts in support of Beyond Blue and The Black Dog Institute. Lachlan is delighted to be touring again, this time with the company of My Fair Lady.

Lisa is a triple threat performer and creative whose professional musical theatre credits include The Rocky Horror Show, Jerry’s Girls, Hot Shoe Shuffle, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Oscar’s Turn to Sing and What the World Needs Now. She starred in Kookaburra Produc2ons’ Pippin as Fastrada, Hello Again as The Whore at Darlinghurst Theatre, she played Maggie in the Australian tour of A Chorus Line, originated the role of Bonnie-Mae in Nick Enright and Max Lambert’s Miracle City for Sydney Theatre Company and was an original member of The Trio, Shena, in both the workshop and full produc2ons of The Boy from Oz. She was Millicent Winter in Nice Work if you Can Get It at The Hayes Theatre and played the Soap Star in the 2023 and 2024 Na2onal Tours of Menopause The Musical. She appeared in Gillian Armstrong’s Starstruck and Baz Luhrmann’s Moulin Rouge. KATIE GREEN

Katie Green is a graduate of the WAAPA Bachelor of Music Theatre program. She is known for her power belt but she is trained in various singing genres including contemporary, musical theatre, pop, rock and classical. Shortly after graduating, Katie appeared as an on-stage Swing in the song cycle musical We Aren’t Kids Anymore, for the Little Big Theatre Company. Katie also appeared as Lavina in the musical Sugar and Ice for Sugarglass Entertainment, in the choir for the Australian concert tour of the musical Chess for Storyboard Entertainment, as a lead singer in the concert An Enchanted Evening with Rodgers & Hammerstein for Akanna Entertainment and as the Girl with the Blue Balloon in The Red Balloon for The Black Swan State Theatre Company. Katie is thrilled to continue her professional musical theatre work in this production of Tootsie. She thanks her family tremendously for their ongoing and unwavering support!

JESSICA PARRIS

A graduate of the prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), Jessica has trained extensively in acting, voice and musical theatre, further refining her craft through industry-renowned programs such as Showfit, Theatre Bridge, Les Chantry Studio and The HubStudio. Jessica’s most recent theatrical credit was as Morticia Addams in The Addams Family at Teatro at the Italian Forum. She has also appeared in various acclaimed NIDA productions including Falsettos (as Dr Charlotte) and All That Glitters Is Not Mould. On screen, Jessica starred as Amber in the award-nominated AFTRS short film Bottleneck (AACTA-nominated), and most recently featured as the Hero of Maselli Films’ commercial for Plow Surf Co. Proudly embracing herGreek-Australian heritage and queer identity, she brings authenticity, nuance and bold creative energy to every project she undertakes.

NICOLE VELLA

Nicole completed her training at Brent Street Studios in Sydney. Since graduating Nicole has cemented herself in the industry as a Vibrant and Energetic Triple Threat. Nicole’s professional credits include an ensemble role & assistant choreographer of Kiss Me Kate(Neglected Musicals), the original Australian cast of Elf the Musical (GFO/Crossroads live), the Global Premier of Elvis; A Musical Revolution (DVE) as On- stage swing and Assistant Dance Captain as well as understudying the roles of Ann-Margret, Marion Keisker & Dixie. The Wedding Singer (DVE) as understudy to the lead roles of Holly and Julia, a Swing role in the Australian Touring Company of Joseph & the Amazing Technicoloured Dreamcoat (TML Enterprises), Bring it On the Musical(Supply Evolution Productions) in the role of Kyler, and an ensemble role in Nice Work If You Can Get It (Neglected Musicals). Recently Nicole appeared in the 2025 edition of A Very Musical Christmas (Michael Cassel Group) performing alongside Caroline O’Conner, Casey Donovan, Rob Mills and many more, all while raising funds for Beyond Blue. Nicole has also performed in Royal Caribbean’s Spectra’s Cabaret and Norwegian Cruise Line’s VELVET and Prohibition – The Musical as well as the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 2018 Commonwealth Games. On screen, Nicole has appeared in The Artful Dodger (Disney+), Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice AwardsEverybody Dance Now, Australia’s Got Talent and Young Talent Time. Nicole has also worked with many iconic Australian artists including Guy Sebastian, Delta Goodrem and Ricki Lee. Nicole wholeheartedly thanks and dedicates her performance to her amazing family, friends & mentors.

SAM AUSTIN

Sam Austin is a recent graduate of the Bachelor of Musical Theatre at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), completing his studies in 2024. During his time at WAAPA, he performed in And the World Goes ’Round(Featured Soloist/Ensemble, Dance Captain), Footloose (Understudy Reverend/Ensemble), and Legally Blonde(Kyle/Grandmaster Chad/Dewey). Prior to WAAPA, Sam trained at The McDonald College, where he studied Musical Theatre and appeared in numerous productions, including Fame, Grease, and 13.  Sam is grateful to his family and Kulik Management for their continued support.

Julian Seguna is a Sydney-born performer and graduate of Village Nation Performing Arts with a Diploma in Musical Theatre and also TheatreBridge Season one. His theatre credits include Phantom Of The Opera and Guys and Dolls (both for Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour) Sweet Charity (Prospero Arts), Saturday Night Fever – covering Bobby C and Joey (Drew Anthony Creative), Once on This Island (Hayes Theatre Co., Assistant Choreographer), Snow White (Bonnie Lythgoe Productions), Addams Family – Uncle Fester (Teatro at the Italian Forum) and Jagged Little Pill (Associate Director’s Assistant). Julian is ecstatic to be joining the cast of Tootsie and would love to thank his agent, family and mentors for all their guidance and unwavering support.

JAMIE REISIN

From Teen Thug (BUMP S2) to Constable D Tilbury (FACING THE NUMBERS) to chimney sweeping (MARY POPPINS AUS), Jamie prides himself on his versatility. After training at Tap Pups, Valerie Jenkins Academy of Ballet and then later completing his Advanced Diploma at ED5 International, Jamie has been lucky enough to learn from mentors including Dein Perry, William Forsythe, Leslie Bell, Penny Martin & Beth Daley.  As an accomplished tap dancer, Jamie has worked with the TAP DOGS for over 10 years (NT Tour, Amazing Race etc). His theatre credits include Opera Australia’s WEST SIDE STORY (Snowboy, U/S A-rab) Riverside/Hayes/Well Done Creative’s HOLIDAY INN (U/S Ted) and Tokyo Disney’s BIG BAND BEAT. On screen he has appeared in TVC’s for HUNGRY JACKS, DOMINO’S, PEPSI and NRL x WESTPAC. Jamie has recently launched Reisinable Productions, choreographing, producing and directing various projects.Jamie is excited to perform in the Aussie premiere of TOOTSIE at Teatro, which is an across-the-floor sequence from his home and favourite cash-only Italian Restaurant!

MAXIMILLIAN MACDONALD

ENSEMBLE

Raised in Sydney of Indian, Japanese, and European descent, Max’s love of music, singing and instruments eventually led him to the Diploma of Music Theatre at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) in 2021. He then made the move to Melbourne where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music Theatre) from The Victorian College of the Arts (VCA). Last year, Max made his professional music theatre debut as Walter in HAIR with the Australian Shakespeare Company (dir. Glenn Elston), as well as being ‘Mowgli’ in their production of ‘The Jungle Book’ (dir. Sue Ellen Shook). During his final year at VCA Max was Melchior Gabor in ‘Spring Awakening’ (dir. Petra Kalive), a featured soloist and arranger/composer of VCA’s 2024 Morning Melodies at Hamer Hall (dir. Jayde Kirchert), a member of the 2024 Australian cast of John Bucchino’s ‘It’s Only Life’, and played Harv Fremont in ‘Curtains’ (dir. Roger Hodgman). Additionally, he was also in the ensemble and vocal arranger of ‘Marry Me a Little’ (dir. Tyran Parke). When not performing Max is likely to be writing songs and making choral arrangements behind a piano. Max is over the moon to be joining the ensemble of Tootsie, as well as being Michael Dorsey/Dorothy Michaels cover!

ARTHUR LEES

Arthur’s passion for performing began at a young age. After moving from London to Sydney, he quickly followed his sister into the dance studio, studying ballet from the age of 6 at North Shore Dance Academy and Conlan College. He continued his training at Brent Street, completing the Diploma of Musical Theatre in 2019 and then went on to graduate from WAAPA in 2022 with a BFA in Musical Theatre.  While at WAAPA, Arthur appeared in numerous shows, including Mack and Mabel and Crazy for You at His Majesty’s Theatre, as well as The Pajama Game, Side Show and Bright Star. He has appeared in campaigns for Hungry Jacks and Anytime Fitness. Arthur is delighted to be making his professional music theatre debut at Teatro in TOOTSIE.
